Writing Tips – How to Write an Article for Profit & Response

If you’re a writer and you need to grab attention fast, you need article marketing. The simple process is, you must grab attention fast, keep it through the article and compel your reader to click on the link in your resource box.

Introduction —

Be honest, tell your reader what the article is about in a few words that give them a grasp of what you’re really writing, capture their attention and drive them into the article. The introduction can be short, sweet and to the point. But, again, be honest.

Title —

Use keyword phrases, concepts and the actual TOPIC of your article in your title. Be sure and fulfill the promise you make in the title. Give the reader what you promise.

Sub Headings —

Present your steps of accomplishment in sub headings that say what you want your reader to know. Sometimes fewer words are more effective, but occasionally, you’ll have to get a bigger stick and write more.

Clear and Concise —

Under each sub heading, give the reader a couple of sentences with clear concise information they can grasp and use when they get done reading your article. This should be informative and valuable information.

Value and Benefit —

If you take nothing else from this article, take this: What you write should provide value and be beneficial to your reader. Give them something to chew on that will solve their problems. Answer their issues and give them some hope.

Summary —

In most cases a summary is the end of the article. In the case of article marketing, your summary is your opportunity to drive the point home. A question or suggestion that will shift the article into sales mode and drive them to your website for more information is your final effort.

Resource Box —

The climactic point of your article marketing career is located in the Resource Box. A link to your website page with a sign up box where your reader can sign up for a free gift, an ezine, or other information you GIVE away, so they’ll GIVE you their email address and hopefully a first name. This is the purpose of your article, so make it good.
